CASA staff, volunteers, board members, and foster youth will join our state legislators on February 8, 2011 for the annual CASA and Foster Youth Day at the Capitol. CASA programs from all around the state will participate. If you are unable to attend this year, we hope that you can join us next year!
Family and friends plan to join CASA staff, CASA board and our court administration and judges for our 43rd CASA swearing-in ceremony. With each class of CASA volunteers graduating, our CASA program is rapidly moving forward in our attempts to serve each child involved in the court system due to abuse or neglect here in Clayton County.
Starting March 19 through March 22, the National CASA Association is holding their annual National CASA Conference. Held this year in Chicago, Illinois, CASA volunteers, staff and board members from around the country will come together with leading consultants and legal and social service professionals to identify ways to improve service provision to children who have been abused and neglected. Saturday, April 16 is the annual Georgia CASA conference. Volunteers, board members, and staff from around the state will come together for this excellent training and networking opportunity.
