Jonesboro Holiday Parade
November 22, 2008

Volunteers, staff, and friendly supporters of the program came together over the course of several evenings to create and assemble the float for this year’s holiday parade. Thanks to all of their hard work and dedication, the “Waddle House” was born.

The hard work paid off in the form of a Second Place ribbon in this year’s parade. Congratulations and thanks to all those who contributed to our success!

Volunteer Recognition Reception
May 17, 2008

Each year CASA staff invites our volunteers to come together so that we can recognize and thank each and everyone for all of the hard work they do throughout the year working with abused and neglected children. This is the one time of the year we want you to be pampered and appreciated by us, because without your dedication and commitment to the program we could not serve the children that we serve. Our success is because of the wonderful, caring volunteers we have who truly make a difference in the lives of these children.

This year we were proud to honor and recognize Yolanda Campbell as our CASA Volunteer of the Year for 2008. Congratulations Yolanda!

Our Friends of Clayton County CASA, Inc. Board Member of the Year for 2008 was Jane Glaze, Board Treasurer.

Additionally, we recognized both Debbie Stinson and Valarie Gordon as this year’s recipients of the Hero Award.
